Welcome Fanatics,
What Best way to introduce us than as food enthusiasts? (I am Sravanthi and my sister Poojitha)
My sister and I like to investigate the history of food and love to reconstruct traditional dishes to fit into a much healthier Lifestyle without compromising the Flavors.
We come from a South Indian background. I know what you are thinking.. Spicy stuff?
Myth alert! Food does not have to be spicy to be tasty! Flavor lies in the way we make use of the spices.
We grew up enjoying fresh, healthy greens from our mom's kitchen garden and Yes, we love incorporating the dry powdered spices to fresh herbs and greens. Oooh.. Think of all those fresh tomatoes, Red Chili flakes and Green peppers.. Yummoch...

Reason for this blog? Simple!!! We have a family full of Food fanatics like ourselves. So we try and sneak into our amma's (that's what we call our mommy) and Ammamma's (granny's) kitchen to learn the traditional dishes and techniques to gain knowledge and we follow our dad's foot steps to learn the secret to cook meat perfectly!
Food to US : "If it looks good, It smells good and it tastes good, then its a Yummy to my Tummy!!

Thank you Mom and dad for being the Inspiration behind our blogs.
And I Thank my Husband Vivek for being the APPROVED Taster for most part.
